For some months now, the cold has returned to accompany us on outings, our only ally is adequate clothing that insulates the body from low temperatures, preventing it from suffering from freezing temperatures. For those who don't mind tight-fitting clothing, here is Alè CHAOS and Alè STONE CARGO, an agglomeration of merino wool and plush fabrics, ergonomically cut to ensure comfort and freedom of movement. New products protect the body from wind and the heaviest moisture.
Alas CHAOS
An extremely light long-sleeved thermal jersey with an optimized design for gravel disciplines. The merino wool and polyester blend, with which it is made, guarantees quick drying and highly transpiring, ensuring a sensation of dry heat avoiding the freezing effect, typical of wet garments. In addition, the fabric used has heat retention properties to keep the body acclimatised to low temperatures. Suitable for temperatures from 10° to 16°c
Design
The construction optimized for gravel is made with a Thermo Wool thermal fabric, ergonomically cut to increase comfort and performance. This material, composed of 72% polyester and 28% merino wool, dries quickly and provides the skin with a microclimate suitable for the coldest temperatures. The long sleeve ends with a double anatomical cuff. In the lumbar area, a triple back pocket makes up the storage space and a silicone elastic band on the bottom of the jersey completes the composition of this product.
fit
The high collar wraps around the neck quite well, the silicone elastic does its job and keeps the shirt firmly on the waist avoiding fluttering. The zip is fluid and the triple elastic pocket, located in the lumbar area, has the necessary space to hold the accessories needed for the ride. I advise against using it to contain heavy objects of small dimensions or telephones, the way in which it was made makes it ideal for carrying water bottles, bars and any windproof or similar accessories which, although bulky, remain firmly inside the pocket.
Overall, the jersey performs its heat retention function by keeping the body warm by protecting it from external temperatures, but be careful, although the jersey does its job, during the coldest outings I would recommend using a windbreaker.
Alè STONE CARGO
A thermal and resistant tights designed for winter off-road outings. The fabric with DWR treatment (water repellent treatment) shields the body from the wind, protects against light rain and dirt. Suitable for temperatures from 4° to 10°c.
Design
The lumbar area is made of soft plush mesh with microfibre braces and enriched by a zipped pocket. Both legs, internally plush, have side pockets that integrate the load capacity. Reflective elements on the bottom of the leg and the ankle cuffs, with rubber coating, complete the product construction.
fit
The ergonomic cut and material composition ensure comfort and freedom of movement. The fabric, with a compact structure and worked with a water-repellent treatment, ensures protection from atmospheric agents, making the product very warm. The wide microfibre braces weld the tights to the body and comfortably keep them positioned on the back. Initially it could be particularly containing, but after the first outings the elasticity of the materials is regularized, leaving room for comfort. Ideal for gravel rides or for those who particularly suffer from the cold, a little less for those who want to maintain an ideal operating temperature in the leg area during the rides.
response
As mentioned initially, if the idea of a tight-fitting garment doesn't bother you, this could be the winter clothing for you. The numerous number of pockets, the ergonomic cut and the warm materials make this outfit a valid ally against the cold, allowing you to fully enjoy a nice off-road ride, even at low temperatures.
