The first round of the 2024 Internazionali d'Italia Series made its debut in San Zeno di Montagna with the Junior round, a race with a very high level of spectacularity. 132 athletes at the start, 5 laps to complete on the Pineta Sperane XCO track (4 complete plus the first launch).

After a full throttle start, the best pulled ahead of the rest of the competition, staging a duel full of twists and turns until, almost, the last corner.
The first to try to get ahead was Tommaso Bosio (Ciclistica Trevigliese) already at the beginning of the second lap, during which he was however joined by Stefano Viezzi (Work Service). The two continued together until halfway through the penultimate lap when it was Viezzi who accelerated, passing at the sound of the final lap bell with a good margin over Bosio followed closely by Ettore Fabbro (KTM-Protek-Elettrosistem).

When it seemed that the Junior cyclocross world champion was now headed towards victory, Bosio had the strength to stage an exceptional last lap, closing the gap with his opponent and overtaking him, and then crossing the finish line in perfect solitude with 40'' ahead of Viezzi.
Behind them Fabbro was the victim of a mechanical accident which forced him to say goodbye to his dreams of a podium, conquered by an excellent Diego Milan (ASD Rock Bike Team), who arrived 55'' behind Bosio.
These are the words of the winner Tommaso Bosio at the end of the race:
"Today was very tough and I'm absolutely happy that I managed to get through. I had a bit of a crisis after Stefano's attack, but in the last lap I felt good. In fact, on the climb I managed to reach him and break away from him. Now I will try to keep the Internazionali d'Italia leader's jersey for as long as possible. It's definitely one of my goals for the season"
