Laurie Greenland takes a photograph of herself posing in New Zealand, probably after a workout: and behind him you can see a V10 (model downhill icon of Santa Cruz) slightly different that immediately makes us prick up our ears: is this an update of the next V10?

Yes, in fact, a video on the V10 and its progress steps, now in its eighth edition, appears on the Santa YouTube channel. Our hypothesis is that it will go on sale at the end of 2023. From the photo it seems that Laurie is using it in the Mullet version (27,5″ at the rear and 29″ at the front).
Here is the translation of the text in the video:
This is the eighth generation of V10, one of the bikes from downhill most successful of all time. The one you see here is still in the prototype stage. This video series will go behind the scenes and showcase the work done by the Santa Cruz team and Syndicate staff. The first episode takes us back to just a few weeks after Greg Minnaar won the 2021 World Championship and set to work validating numerous test forklifts to decide the direction of the next bike. Other suspension designs had been tried before Greg settled on the VPP™. The Syndicate will race this bike in 2023 and continue to develop it throughout the year. Future episodes will further delve into the process of creating a world-class downhill bike. When will it be on sale? There is no precise timing.
Surely seeing how Laurie Greenland and Jackson Goldstone descended from Coronet Peak, it's not so bad (see the video).
