The main novelty is certainly the new e-bike range called E-EXPL: there are five models available. The abbreviation S at the end of the model indicates that the model is Full-Suspension. Expl stands for Explorer. The most performing model from the point of view of autonomy is certainly the E-EXPL 700s model, which can reach up to 1000wh of battery: let's get to know them all in detail.
ROCKRIDER E-EXPL 520
Front entry level model with Yamaha PW CE engine with 50 Nm of maximum torque powered by a 500w battery. 29″ wheels, SR Suntour fork XCM with 130 mm of travel, Tektro brakes with 180 mm discs and Microshift Acolyte 8-speed gearbox.
ROCKRIDER E-EXPL 700
Here is the top of the range in the Front department, namely the E-EXPL 700, which is equipped with a 630wh battery combined with a Brose T motor. X-Fusion RC32 130mm fork, Tektro brakes and Shimano Deore LG 10-speed gearbox.
ROCKRIDER E-EXPL 500S
Full suspension with Brose C motor with 50 Nm of maximum torque and 500wh battery. X-Fusion suspension, Tektro brakes and 8-speed Acolyte Microshift gearbox.
ROCKRIDER E-EXPL 520S
Full suspension with 70 Nm Brose T engine of maximum torque and 500wh battery. X-Fusion suspension and set up very similar to the previous model (520).
ROCKRIDER E-EXPL 700s
Here is the top of the range of the Full department, namely the E-EXPL 700s, which is equipped with a 630wh battery combined with a Brose T motor. In terms of suspension, the E-EXPL 700S has 140 mm of travel at the rear and 150 mm. of travel at the front: RockShox Deluxe Select spring shock and a RockShox 35 Silver R fork. Includes a dropper post and the drivetrain is 1 × 10. One of the strengths of this model is the possibility of adding an additional 370wh battery for a capacity of 1.000 Wh
PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
The first models of the new Rockrider E-EXPL range will be launched in the spring of 2023 while prices have not yet been announced.
