Gravel is more and more a lifestyle. The charm of travel is an attitude that finds its dimension even in the autumn mists, when the fog and frost give a timeless charm to nature.
But to fully enjoy these moments, warm and protective clothing is required.
In these autumn months for the Gravel releases I used the line designed by Santini, below I will give you my impressions.
The Gravel jersey is made of a Hotwind thermofleece fabric. It has an excellent fit, which allows you to move easily, the silicone inserts keep the garment adherent to the body thus avoiding uncovering the back. An ideal jacket on autumn days when the temperature does not drop below about 10 degrees. But which in combination with the shell can be a good solution even for the coldest temperatures.
The jacket GRAVEL NEBULA it is the windscreen to always have in your back pocket. Useful for protecting oneself in the downhill sections or in the first kilometers of the plain to bring the body 'in temperature'. I appreciated the camouflage style, a color that stands out and characterizes the Gravel line.
The Nebula Gravel's perspiration is good, but it only keeps the body in balance if you maintain a low exercise intensity. By increasing the effort, the garment retains more moisture and therefore it is necessary to open it.
The tights GRAVEL it is made of Blizard thermofleece with eco-friendly, PFOA-free. A very good product that supports pedaling movements very well. The presence of two side mesh pockets is useful for having a bar at hand to withstand long rides. The containment of the risers is also effective.
The only note concerns the lack of protection for the abdomen, useful on cold days, the downside of this choice is that this garment can also be useful in mid-seasons. The heart of this tights is the C3 chamois. A product designed for endurance use, designed with the use of Carvin technology, a technology that allows for maximum protection from shocks. The gel inserted in the ischial bone area also helps to absorb vibrations during exits.
VERDICT
The Gravel line by Santini manages to combine the quality of the materials with some stylish aspects that satisfy even the most fashionable gravelists. A modular line that, if well combined, guarantees use for a season that goes from autumn to early spring, thus guaranteeing a very wide range of use.
