Limar: Delta and Roc, the combination for all mountain

It was back in 1992 when I wore a Limar product for the first time, it was the helmet dedicated to dh and for the time this product was futuristic, a full face helmet similar to cross helmets but with a much lower weight. A lot of water has passed under the bridge and now we are about to describe the new born. Delta is the name of the new helmet that has been designed for all mountain.

THE PRODUCT

the rear air intakes

the technology used for the shell is a triple thickness pressed and molded shell. The weight of the product stands at 310 g in size M. ventilation is guaranteed by the presence of 17 air intakes designed to create a continuous outflow and thus make the head cooler. There are two sizes, an M which is designed for a skull with a circumference between 53 57 cm and an L for sizes up to 62 cm.

the internal padding and the details of the fluo rasa profiles

The internal padding, of generous size for the category, are removable and washable, made of antibacterial material to ensure constant hygiene even after the hot summer outings.

the air fit system

The retention system is entrusted to the air fit system, a device with minimal dimensions that allows three different vertical adjustments and a micrometric one that wraps the skull in a precise way.

To assist this system the classic strap under the chin. The visor is designed to be adjusted in three positions that also allow the housing of the mask when climbing or when not in use.

THE VISUAL IMPRESSION

A helmet of substance, with important structures that give a feeling of absolute protection, the helmet in question also has a captivating chromatic contrast, with the matt black alternating with the glossy one in which the fluorescent pink of the profile and the aqua green of the padding are inserted. . The possible choices are 4 more and they range from military green (a very fashionable color in this period among companies), to the classic brick red, to total black and to gray with yellow lettering. A s celta that will find the pleasure of bikers.

PROOF

A comfortable and light helmet, easy to put on and very light, which immediately gives an enviable feeling of comfort. Even after a few hours of use, you don't have it and there are no pains or pressure points. Used both with traditional glasses and with the new limar mask we have not encountered any kind of problem. In the long portage ascents, the upper openings still allowed the heat to be dissipated, avoiding the cooking sensations of the skull. When the speed increases then the situation has improved. The only remark to be made is the lack of the mips system for impact protection. We believe this should be an upgrade to be evaluated by Limar

PROJECTED IMPACT

An aesthetically beautiful helmet with excellent comfort and the ability to better adapt to the head thanks to the different adjustments. even in very hot conditions it proved to be comfortable, leaving a cool head and allowing you to tackle long excursions in the best possible way

THE MASK

Combined with the Limar helmet it also presented the new roc mask. Made of conposito material with large margins of flexibility and with the elastic fastening to the helmet anchored to a frame it is partly detached from the lens body to allow greater modulation without going to press too much on the face. It is sold with two different lenses, one transparent and the other slightly mirrored, with a shade tending to blue that does not prevent correct vision even in the undergrowth. The numerous air intakes guarantee a perfect vision even in extreme conditions such as use in the rain or on long enduro racing.
