The Verdict: Total MTB
The project of a “Total MTB” is certainly a success, in particular at a geometric level with respect to which the MD 679 allows the management of a range of use never seen before. From the point of view of the structure, however, it is unthinkable that the same frame can simultaneously give the maximum level of both lightness (required in case of use close to XC) and rigidity (essential when use approaches DH areas) .
