The juniors raced on Friday and it was a debut World Cup win for Colombia's Valentina Roa Sanchez (Transition Factory Racing) by 3,4 seconds over Australia's Sacha Mills. The French Lais Bonnaure came third. Junior world champion Erice Van Leuven (Commencal Les Orres) was knocked out by a fall during Thursday's practice. Roa Sanchez leads the general classification.
In the junior men's race, the American Ryan Pinkerton (GT Continental Factory Racing) managed to take first place in two consecutive weekends, following the his victory in Loudenvielle with another decisive victory. In second place Jon Mozell (Forbidden Synthesis Team). Pinkerton's compatriot Evan Medcalf (Evolve Racing) was third. Overall, Pinkerton leads the standings ahead of Bodhi Kuhn (Trek Factory Racing Gravity) who missed the race after a suspected concussion in Loudenvielle.
Unlucky was Christian Hauser, who suffered a fall after having scored some very interesting green splits.
