Andreas Kolb wins at home with a crazy run! Behind him Loic Bruni and Jackson Goldstone, who throws the victory for a mistake in the last corner.

Andreas Kolb home winner at Leogang 2023 - credits: UCI Mountain Bike World Series

Anticipation was high in the Austrian crowd as Kolb put in a fantastic run and was duly rewarded with first place.

However, with eight other runners still at the start, the tension was palpable. But Finn Iles (Specialized Gravity) was unable to lower his time, not even Loic Bruni. Only Jackston Goldstone seemed able to win worrying the Austrian but a mistake in the final corner relegated him to 3rd place.

Reigning UCI World Champion Loic Bruni (Specialized) finished second, while Jackson Goldstone (Santa Cruz Syndicate) finished third. Loris Revelli finished in 23rd place.

In the general classification, Loic Bruni is in front, second is Finn Iles and third is Loris Vergier (Trek Factory Racing Gravity).
