The 2024 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series returned this weekend for the penultimate round of racing in the UCI Downhill World Cup, and the stakes couldn’t have been higher.

And at the end of a thrilling day of racing, reigning UCI Downhill World Cup champions Loïc Bruni (Specialized Gravity) and Valentina Höll (YT Mob) both secured overall victory for the second consecutive season.
The two riders defended their titles in style, finishing the season with a round to spare despite extremely difficult conditions. However, neither rider could replicate their victories at Loudenvielle – Peyragudes last year. Home riders Myriam Nicole Commencal/Muc-Off Riding) and Benoît Coulanges (Dorval AM Commencal) won the Elite women's and men's races and Max Alran (Commencal/Muc-Off By Riding Addiction) won in the junior men's.
