DH World Cup Andorra: Nina Hoffmann returns to victory

Eleonora Farina finishes in 5th place and returns to the positions that count after the injury.

Nina Hoffmann (Santa Cruz Syndicate) ended world champion Valentina Höll's winning streak with a stunning and convincing victory in the fourth round of the World Cup in downhill UCI mountain biking in Pal-Arinsal, Andorra.

Höll (Rockshox Trek Race Team) was aiming for four consecutive victories, but could not beat today's Hoffmann. Britain's Tahnee Seagrave (Canyon CLLCTV FMD) also enjoyed a strong return to form as she finished in third place.

Camille Balanche of Switzerland (Dorval AM Commencal) went into the weekend as the leader of the circuit, but a crash in qualifying ruled her out of the final. Höll now leads the overall standings ahead of Balanche.
