Valentina Höll is only 21 years old, however she is already a double elite world champion after her maiden victory in Les Gets last summer. Too bad for Rachel Atherton who raced with a dislocated shoulder and finished eighth: without that crash in practice she could have tried to undermine Holl.
The 2020 world champion Camille Balanche gave Holl a hard time, together with Cabirou, with very close splits. But in the very fast final piece, Holl managed to increase her lead and win by more than 2 seconds over Balanche and Cabirou.
