Charlie Aldridge  (Cannondale Factory Racing) waited for the right moment to launch two lightning attacks and take his first victory in the UCI XCO Men's Elite World Cup. The 24-year-old, third in Pal Arinsal (Andorra) and second at Bike Kingdom (Lenzerheide), recovered from a poor start and then attacked a leading quartet for glory.
