In the women's race, a third place for world champion Valentina Höll (Rockshox Trek Race Team) was enough to secure the Austrian the 2023 World Cup title ahead of the final round in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada , next weekend.
Today, however, it was Cabirou who took her second World Cup victory in a row with an impeccable performance that saw her cross the finish line just three tenths of a second ahead of Nina Hoffman (Santa Cruz Syndicate).
The French driver's victory takes her up to 3rd place overall, reducing the points gap with Hoffman, second in the standings, to just 29 with 250 points up for grabs at the end of the season.
