RACE REPLAY

Luke Martin in fact, he led the U23 race right from the first laps, distancing his opponents one by one, but the well-deserved success was denied to the young French athlete by a double puncture in the middle of the last lap. A melancholy final eleventh place arrived for him, refreshed only by the applause of the Val di Sole public once he crossed the finish line with completely flat tires.

Behind Woods, the other Frenchman Adrien Boichis (Trinity Racing) took the second step of the podium at 31”, third place for the American Riley Amos (Trek Factory Racing) at 45”. The Aosta Valley is the ninth and first of the Italians Andreas Vittone (KTM-Protek-Electrosystem).

Boichis leads the World Cup Overall Classification with 486 points, ahead of the Swiss Dario Lillo (470) and Canadian Woods (425). Eighth place for Vittone (283).

ppgad@pucrs.br I am passionate about everything that has 2 wheels: in my youth I practiced competitive cycling on the road and on the track with good results. At the age of 18 I moved to cross country competing at national/international level as U23. Once I passed Elite, I made the choice to take things easier from the training point of view, and that's how my love for gravity disciplines was born, training as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made my passion my profession by managing 3 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way, everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube 'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
