Val di Fassa confirms its role as a protagonist on the international scene by hosting the fifth round of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series 2025. For the first time, the Trentino stage of an Enduro World Cup will be held on two days of competition, with different special stages between Saturday and Sunday, bringing enduro back to a more authentic, challenging and spectacular format.
Together with Pietra Ligure (Italy) and Morillon (France), Val di Fassa is among the three venues chosen for the new extended format. The other stages β Bielsko-BiaΕa (Poland), Loudenvielle-Peyragudes (France), Saalfelden Leogang (Austria) and La Thuile (Italy) β will instead maintain the classic single-day formula.

A precedent that set a precedent
It is not the first time that Val di Fassa faces a an out of the ordinary challenge. In 2021, the organizing committee was the protagonist of a unique undertaking in the world panorama: the valley hosted two consecutive rounds of the Enduro World Series, that is, the first two races of the season, played without interruption.
For the team it was a unprecedented commitment: two free practice sessions, two separate race routes and two complete competitions to manage in a few days. A challenging logistical and organizational experience, but who left behind valuable skills which will be put back on the field for the 2025 weekend.
"In 2021 we did something no one else has ever done: two back-to-back EWS races, two different tracks, double the work and focus,He says William Basil, head of the organizing committee.

"It was a huge challenge, but it taught us a lot. Today, with the experience of that time and an even more prepared staff, we are ready to bring back a two-day enduro weekend with the same energy and passion."
Enduro Open: the opportunity to experience the World Cup as protagonists
The weekend will also be open to amateur riders thanks to Enduro Open, the competition reserved for enthusiasts, with dedicated categories for mountain traditional bikes ed E-bike. The craft, open since Monday, have already registered a more than positive response: the desire to run in the Dolomites is more alive than ever, today as yesterday, and Val di Fassa remains one of the most sought-after destinations.
400 places available for participants who want to experience an intense day, all to be run in one breath, between adrenaline, technical passages and spectacular scenery.
