In the women's e-bike race, Tracy Moseley proved herself by winning the first three stages of the day. Ines Thoma took wins on stages four and ten, while former EWS-E champion Laura Charles (Miranda Factory Team) also took a stage win. However, none of them could prevent reigning champion Florencia Espineira (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) from taking the final victory and the title of the overall UCI E-Enduro World Cup Series.
The women's race was super close with Espineira putting the pioneer Moseley behind by just four tenths of a second after ten stages of the race. Ines Thoma finishes 3rd at 41 seconds. Espineira was joined on the overall series podium by Laura Charles in second place and Germany's Ines Thoma in third.
Meanwhile, in the men's race, series leader Fabien Barel (Canyon CLLCTV) missed out on victory due to a 60-second penalty that cost him the race lead. The error brought Barel to ninth place and handed the race victory to Kevin Marry (Lapierre Zipp Collective) who preceded Tiago Ladeira (Miranda Factory Team) in second by less than two tenths of a second, while Mick Hannah (Yeti/ Fox Factory Race Team) is third.
And although winning the race was now out of Barel's reach, his season dominance was richly rewarded with the overall UCI E-Enduro World Cup title. Kevin Marry finished second overall with Ladeira completing the podium in third.
