The Toscano Enduro Series of mountain bikes returned to the sea again for the Livorno race with a race which, despite the weekend sun, harshly paid the price for the week's rain with the legendary "rotten" which once again made the difference with a variant prepared at the last moment to avoid the very difficult wall which had become extremely dangerous with the wet conditions.

Vittorino Palmieri was the one who paid the price for the variant which required a long stretch of pushing in the mud. Despite the great performances of the other specials (Terzo, Primo and Primo) he crashed in the 90th position due to a wheel locking in the mud of the pushed.
However, credit where credit is due to Thomas Escudier who, without suffering from the rot, then managed the advantage he had accumulated excellently to reach the end of the fourth stage, largely in the lead ahead of Lorenzo Pellegrini of the Trail Dogs and Jacopo Del Principe of the TSI who also won the Elite master category .
Among the women, victory for Ambra Giusti from West Elba who wisely took advantage of the advice of her boyfriend Thomas to pair up as a family on the lower steps of the absolute results.
In the Juniors, Antonio Grassi of Otto racing Bike wins ahead of Leonardo Graverini of the Arezzo Cycling School and Joshua Criscuolo.
The winner of the M1 category is Federico Proverbio of Finale Bikers, Federico Tamberi of the Parkpre racing team wins among the M2s while Marco Mazzi of Cicli Mancini returns to the top step of the M3s. In the M4 the local Thomas Zanatta of Mushrooms wins big while in the M5 Roberto Farinelli wins. Among the M6s Michele Cortopassi is unbeatable and in the M7s the old man Rolando Galli of the Abetone Gravity Team returns to the top step.
Among the students, the podium went to Niccolò Lanzoni (I-Mtb) on the top step, followed by Simone Grossini of Ternana Bike and Ruben Manfroni third. In the rookies, however, Samuele Piaggi of the Trail Dogs won ahead of Riccardo Salvatori of the Oneleven team and Stefano Marullo of the Bike Center Cimone. Among the debuting women, victory went to Sofia Ponzi (Vallone delle Cese) ahead of Marta Fiocchi (Porrettana Bike), 1'33 behind.
Among the electrics, Paolo Bertozzi (Team RP) won ahead of Filippo Colarusso and Marcello Ghidini.
Among the women's stacks, Sabina Vincenzini Foppa del Giocatore D'Azzardo wins ahead of Lisa Balachia and Letizia Andreini.
In the special Front classification, Daniel Bartalucci won ahead of Giacomo Castiello and Simone Tabarrani.
New this year is the special ranking of the Moro Challenge which lines up at the start all the athletes riding the high-performance Yamaha bike, and which saw Antonio Guidi excel among the men and Miriana Povolo among the girls.
And in any case the 42km of the Livorno route, of which around 10 are special, with 1150 meters of difference in altitude, in a fantastic panorama between the Mediterranean scrub and the sea with the plus of being able to swim at the end of the tour, once dried they will remain available to enthusiasts who want to take advantage of their holidays by combining the useful (the bike) with the pleasant (the family) during the next summer holidays.
Now everything is ready for the next race which will take place on the slopes of Mount Javello in Vaiano with big changes compared to last year so that we can reset everything and not give advantages to the locals!! The guys from Team Vaiano Bike are working hard to best prepare the route which will be made public 2 weeks before the race on June 2nd as per the TES regulations.
In the meantime, the TES steering committee has worked to give even more content to the circuit's races with increasingly important prizes thanks primarily to the Main Sponsor Yamaha which has supported the TES to test and have its exceptional E Bikes tested. In addition to the prestigious Japanese brand, Ufo Plast is reconfirmed and is once again present in the bike world with its clothing and protections that we all remember at the highest level and Vittoria Tires which with its high performance tires helps those who want to be able to climb the podium . PROAction sport also makes its entrance, providing all the products suitable for nutritional supplementation of athletes and Chamaleon Skin returns with its protective films for frames, Scrimmage Socks, Prato Freeride, DRC Wheels, Esseci stampa, FT pro and the craft brewery TopTa which as always will flood all participants with beer with its own dedicated stand right in front of the start.
