The U23 European champion, big favorite for this day, took the lead from the first lap followed only by Giorgia Marchet (KTM – Protek – Elettrosystem) “It was an important race because it is the last before the start of the World Cup . I'm in my first year in the Open category so I had to test a few things and I'm absolutely happy with how it went. Then this year with the Olympics it is a particularly electrifying year.” says a super enthusiastic Sofie Pedersen.

The U23 world champion, in her first season in the Open category, completed the 6 scheduled laps of the second stage, with a best time of 1h 24′ 18″, creating a gap of 40″ from Giorgia Marchet, now leader of the general classification of Internazionali of Italy. “I am definitely satisfied with this result. I tried to get my pace from the start and give everything knowing full well that Sofie (Pedersen) always had that 20/30" lead and I wasn't really able to close the gap. She was really good. Now I will try to keep the jersey for the next stages which will also be close to home, on Montello and in Alpago, and there will be a lot of cheering. It will be funny. “

Lucia Bramati (Trinx Factory Team), Giulia Challancin (BCL Factory Team) and Marika Celestino (Scott Racing Team) won the podium in the U23 category. Giada Martinoli (Scott Racing Team), second in San Zeno di Montagna, literally dominated the Junior category race, placing first with a best time of 56' 58” ahead of Nelia Kabetaj (Zhiraf Pagliaccia) and Myrtò Mangiaterra (Team Cingolani) .

“I really like racing here, it's a really nice track. I started quite well, I tried to follow Giorgia (Marchet) as much as possible. During the third lap I had a bit of a crisis and had to slow down for a moment to recover and do the last laps as best I could. The condition is improving little by little and I am very happy. I really hope that the season can continue in this way." confirms the winner of the U23 category Lucia Bramati.
