The Red Bull Rampage 2025 women's competition, held on October 17, 2025, in the deserts of southern Utah, confirmed the evolution of female freeriding. On a day marked by more complex lines, massive drops, and daring tricks, New Zealander Robin Goomes won with a score of 89,50.

Behind her, American Hannah Bergemann (89,33) and Canadian Georgia Astle (87,66) completed the podium. Goomes, the defending champion, didn't just control the race: she pushed hard, raising the bar once again.

Men's race

The 19th edition of the men's Rampage kicked off on October 19, 2025. That day, a surprise occurred: Canadian rookie Hayden Zablotny, 22, took the win with a score of 96,00, after a first run compromised by a fall and a perfectly orchestrated second run.

Belgian veteran Thomas Genon (94,35) took second place, with Canadian Tom Van Steenbergen (94,00) third.

The story of the fall of Emil Johansson and Adolf Silva

Rampage 2025 can't be described without mentioning the double fall that defined the day: that of Adolf Silva and that of Emil Johansson. Silva, the very aggressive Spanish freeride athlete, attempted a double backflip on his second run but failed to land it. A helicopter was needed for medical transport.

The statement described a "lumbar injury." A few minutes later, it was Sweden's Emil Johansson's turn: during an attempted drop-in tailwhip, he lost his line and flew off the track, nearly dislocating his hip. He was also evacuated by helicopter.
