The 2026 edition, marred by difficult weather conditions that led to the cancellation of the finals on Sunday, February 8th, still crowned its winners based on the results of Saturday's qualifying. Standing on the top step of the podium were the American Asa Vermette and the Canadian one Gracey Hemstreet, both protagonists of extraordinary performances on one of the most challenging tracks in the entire gravity panorama.
Men
In the men's competition, Asa Vermette dominated the scene with a lightning-fast run in 3:15.805, closing with 2.132 seconds ahead on Irish Rónán Dunne and 2.293 seconds on the home idol Troy Brosnan.
With this success, Vermette becomes the youngest rider ever to win two Red Bull Hardline events, after the triumph achieved last year in Wales.
Women
In the women's category, Gracey Hemstreet confirmed her dominance on the Tasmanian track by stopping the clock on 4:08.534The British Louise Ferguson took second place with a gap of 4.84 seconds.
For Hemstreet it is a Historic one-two at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania, which also makes it the first woman ever to win two Red Bull Hardline events, after making history in 2025 as the competition's first female champion.
Special awards
To complete the picture of the results, the French Edgar Briole has been awarded the Mophie Fastest Charger Award, thanks to the higher speed recorded in the jump of the Mophie Creek Gap.
The rookie rider Mikayla Parton was instead nominated Rider of the Week, obtaining the highest number of votes directly from the other athletes in the competition.
Even without the finals, Red Bull Hardline Tasmania 2026 confirmed its status as an iconic event, capable of pushing the world’s best riders to their limits.
