The big news comes with Saltoki: a pioneering project that strengthens the commitment to training young talents and the continuity of professional cycling.

In a global context where many teams are disappearing, the project chooses to grow from within. «Competing in the elite with the highest ambition is not only a challenge, but also an opportunity to inspire and connect with all the people who share our passion for MTB.», says Iñaki Ucin, Sports Marketing Manager at Orbea.

A season with renewed goals deserves gear to match. Oiz, the benchmark for modern XCO, combines lightweight performance and a fresh aesthetic thanks to Orbea's MyO configurator. White takes center stage, complemented by the team's iconic mint green and Metallic Navy Blue details, perfectly complementing the OQUO MP30LTD wheels. This striking visual combination reinforces the team's identity and its commitment to innovation.

Like every year, HIRU returns to outfit the Orbea FOX Factory Team, and in 2026, it does so with a design inspired by nature. Organic shapes inspired by tree leaves or reflecting the light that passes through the forest. The new racing kit combines the traditional mint green, white, navy blue, and a new touch of lilac, creating an elegant yet instantly recognizable image.

Thanks to the joint work between the riders and the HIRU team, each garment has been perfected down to the smallest details: from fabric selection to cut and modeling, everything is designed to offer the highest level of performance.

The structure: talent, experience and long-term vision

The 2026 lineup retains a top-tier group of riders: Danish XCO champion Simon Andreassen; Canadian XCC and XCO champion Jennifer Jackson, who enjoyed a stellar 2025 season; Australian XCC and XCO champion Rebecca Henderson; and Belgian XCO champion Pierre de Froidmont.

Fran Pérez continues to lead the technical team in his role as Team Manager, supported by a team that ensures every detail, from mechanics to nutrition, is top-notch. The team will compete in all UCI MTB World Series events, as well as other top international events.

Ibon Zugasti will continue to share his insights into cycling and embark on challenges and adventures that will surely inspire the entire cycling community for another year.

The big news is the development structure promoted by Saltoki, which will serve as a true talent and skills breeding ground. In a challenging period for professional sports, this project reinforces the team's founding mission: to compete at the highest levels, inspire its community, and develop a new generation of role models.

The project is supported by a solid group of brands that share the Orbea FOX Factory Team's values of innovation and performance. FOX is one of the main partners, along with Shimano, in a group completed by OQUO, Maxxis, HIRU, 226ERS, Silca, and Enduro Bearings.

ppgad@pucrs.br I am passionate about everything that has 2 wheels: in my youth I practiced competitive cycling on the road and on the track with good results. At the age of 18 I moved to cross country competing at national/international level as U23. Once I passed Elite, I made the choice to take things easier from the training point of view, and that's how my love for gravity disciplines was born, training as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made my passion my profession by managing 3 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way, everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube 'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
