A packed schedule of events from 3 to 13 August: all of Scotland is busy hosting the Road, Paralympic, Track, Off-Road, Trial, BMX and even Indoor Cycling World Championships! Fort William is home to the DH World Championships while the Marathon and Cross Country will be held in Glentress, in the Tweed Valley, known for hosting enduro events in recent seasons.

Wednesday August 9 the Team Relay world championships (relay) and the e-MTB world championships will take place. Thursday August 10 the Short Track finals are underway while Friday August 11 space for Cross Country with the U23 World Championships. The Elite competitions will conclude the XC World Championships Saturday 12 August.
Nino Schurter he will aim to conquer his 11th rainbow jersey, continuing to break record after record. The Italian hopes, in the elite competitions, are good given the excellent form of Luca Braidot and Martina Berta among the Elites.

MARATHON
Sunday August 6 2023

The Marathon is a specialty that can reserve surprises: the details of the route are not yet known but we understand that it could be a route suitable for powerful athletes as there are no very high peaks in Scotland.

Diego Rose, fresh in the tricolor shirt, and Fabian Rabensteiner will be the points of our national team to conquer this coveted shirt.

WHERE TO FOLLOW THE RACES LIVE?
The races will be covered by the same platforms that follow the World Cup, namely GCN+, Eurosport and Discovery+. The schedule on RAI (Rai Sport) is not yet clear but the first information is beginning to emerge:
