An extraordinary performance by Mirco Vendemmia: it is the best result of a male biker at the Enduro World Series. 8th place for Nadine Ellecosta with a solid race. The opening round of the UCI Enduro World Cup in Finale Ligure saw Britain's Harriet Harnden (Trek Factory Racing Gravity) take the lead in the women's competition thanks to a superb third stage.

The men's competition was dominated by reigning champion Richie Rude (Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team) who won three out of four stages, including a perfect run on the iconic DH Men.
In the women's field, the overall winner of 2023, Isabeau Courdurier (Lapierre Zipp Collective) took second place, after winning the first stage but could do nothing against the British Hardnen, today in splendid form.
Cannondale's Ella Conolly, who has had a turbulent 2023, maintained a steady pace throughout the race to earn third place on the podium.
In the men's category, Charlie Murray (Specialised Enduro Team) set excellent times in all stages, finishing second on the day, while the Belgian Martin Maes (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) returned to the podium, taking third place overall.
