Damien Oton failed to beat Hugo Pigeon, an athlete with a past in cross country where for 4 seasons he was a strong athlete in xc, becoming national junior champion and winning the world championship in Team Relay. The transition to both muscular and electric enduro happened almost by chance in a period where he had little stimuli and, since 2019, he has abandoned the world of XC.
