Pra Loup is a French ski resort located in the Ubaye Valley in the Alpes de Haute Provence department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
THE VIDEO
It extends over the commune of Uvernet-Fours, with the departure station located in the commune of Barcelonnette. It has two distinct sections, Pra Loup 1500 (called "Les Molanès") and Pra Loup 1600, two kilometers apart. With a minimum altitude of 1.500m and a maximum of 2.502m, it has 80 slopes and 53 lifts. In the past it has hosted competitions of the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
The race stopped at Pra-Loup 1600, with the start of the race at an altitude of 2400m (Uvernet-Fours). Arnaud Garanger wins the 4th stage of Maxiavalanche and 1st stage of the French Cup of Downhill marathon. Maelle Escudero wins among women while Maxime Danda among e-bikes. All in the magnificent setting of Pra-Loup.
Among the men, good performance by the Italians with Mirco Montagni 8th, Andrea Righettini 12th and Davide Finetto 13th.
Among women, 2nd place for Vera Ramon (Racing Team Riverosse) behind the dominatrix Maelle Escudero (Lachtouteam).
Next stage of Maxiavalanche at Ax 3 Domaines next 10th September.
