The Italian Enduro Championship will take place on 8/9 July in La Thuile, in Valle d'Aosta, which will take place along the paths of the La Thuile Bike Park, served by the Bosco Express and Chalet Express ski lifts.

Matteo, brother of Martina Berta (one of the top athletes in the cross country, 2nd in the last race in Val di Sole among the Elites), has decided not to participate in the Italian Masters. As a true gentleman, given his technical level, he did not want to participate among the amateurs.
An athlete who could have been among the favorites is Matteo Berta who, however, according to the latest news, will not be able to fight for the tricolor jersey due to an incompatibility with federal regulations: this year he started working as a "technical coach" for the Italian XC national team but, the Elite license is incompatible with any other type of license and this is the reason why this year he will not be able to participate in any Italian championship Elite. Let's hope that, also in this case, the regulation will be revised: I don't understand why, in the FCI regulations, there are often limitations of this type. Let's hope we can think about a solution since it doesn't make sense and, in Matteo's case, an important athlete is lost in the environment.
Matteo Berta was unable to defend the Italian e-bike title, won in 2022 and this year conquered by Andrea Garibbo (Hai Bike).
