Slawomir Lukasik (Yeti/Fox Factory Team) and Elly Hoskin took their first Elite victories at the second stage of the UCI Enduro World Cup at the Enduro Trails in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. Lukasik dominated the five stages of the men's race, while the women's race was more exciting, with Hoskin taking the win after Raphaela Richter's crash.
Lukasik made a statement early on, taking the lead on stage one. The Polish rider clocked a time of 4:30.014, never giving up his lead. The Yeti / Fox Factory Team rider finished more than three seconds ahead of Gregory Callaghan on stage one.
Many eyes were on Daniel Booker, who was racing in his second race of the season after his season-opening victory in Pietra Ligure. He had come from behind to secure victory in Italy, but there was no sign of a repeat in Poland.
Enduro enthusiasts are taking a well-deserved break to rest and recharge before the third stage of the UCI Enduro World Cup, which will take place in Loudenvielle-Peyragudes, France, from May 30th to June 1st.
