The penultimate stage of the UCI Enduro World Cup crowned the 2025 champions with a day to spare. Making everything even more spectacular was the special “Nightfall”, the first night race in the history of the World Cup, illuminated by 23 high-powered lights and arriving in the final race stadium packed with spectators.
Sławomir Łukasik (Yeti/Fox) won the race and took the men's title by just five hundredths of a second over Charles Murray (Specialized Gravity), while in the women's race, Czech Simona Kuchyňková (Cube Action Team) took her first win, with privateer Ella Conolly finishing second, but still the 2025 champion with one race to spare.
Among the athletes in evidence, the Italian Nadine Ellecosta (Abetone Ancillotti Vittoria Factory Team) stands out, an excellent second in the Nightfall and currently third in the general women's ranking. The young Sophie Riva, local athlete and ambassador of La Thuile, was also welcomed warmly by the support of the home crowd.
La Thuile confirms itself as a top location for international enduro, much loved by riders who here, like in few other places in the world, find long, technical trails and spectacular high-altitude starts.
But what makes the difference is also the soul of the organization: a group passionate and visionary enough to bet on a special test at night, win the bet and give life to a memorable show that celebrated enduro and the new champions in the best possible way. A true celebration of sport.
