In the women's race, reigning champion Valentina Holl (Rockshox Trek Race Team) was generally unfazed by the conditions, continuing her winning streak and taking her third DH World Cup success this year.
Nina Hoffmann (Santa Cruz Syndicate) finished second by just 2,8 seconds, while Marine Cabirou (Scott Downhill Factory) equaled his best result of the season by finishing in third place.
Holl's victory extends her lead in the overall: she is now over 400 points ahead of Hoffman in second, with Camille Balanche (Dorval AM Commencal) in third place (out due to injury).
