The first to cross the finish line was Colombian Hector Leonardo Paez Leon, who completed the race in an incredible time of four hours and fifty minutes. The two-time UCI Marathon world champion finished just 34 seconds ahead of Italy's Diego Rosa, with Andreas Seewald of Germany finishing in third place.

In the women's race Vera Looser of Namibia put in a dominant performance to finish the race first, recording a time of six hours and nine minutes. Ten-time champion Namibia won one minute and 30 seconds ahead of rival Lejla Njemcevic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Third was the Swiss Irina Luetzelschwab.
The UCI Marathon World Cup concludes in two weeks in Snowshoe, West Virginia, USA.
