Lars Forster (Thömus Maxon) was fantastic on an incredibly tough Leogang course, where he won with shrewd racing tactics and a decisive attack on the last lap.
Forster's team-mate Mathias Flückiger looked fit to win but a puncture cut him out of contention eventually relegating him to 5th place. In the leading group, in addition to Forster, we found a surprising Luca Schwazbauer (Canyon CLLCTV) and Ondrej Cink (Primaflor Mondraker Genius Race Team), who has finally returned to his level.
Forster ended Fluckiger's bad luck by taking home an important victory for Team Thomus Maxom. Behind him, Luca Schwarzbauer takes 2nd place despite his tonnage, certainly not that of a climber. Third place for Ondrej Cink (Primaflor Mondraker).
