Jackson Goldstone he injured his knee in an accident during the Red Bull Hardline in Tasmania and it appears that it is much more serious than initially assumed.
Initially it seemed that the situation was calm: Jackson Goldstone had announced that he had only suffered a medial ligament injury. But now bad news is coming from Canada: further tests have shown that the damage to his left knee is much more serious than initially assumed. No further details on the severity of the injury are provided. However, Jackson Goldstone underwent surgery by specialists in Canada earlier this week.
My knee is much more damaged than I expected and thanks to @redbullcanada and @damienmoroney I was able to get surgery very quickly.
I came out of surgery on Monday and now we start rehabilitation. It will be long. There is no estimate yet on when I will return but the time will come when I will be ready. For now I'll stay on the couch – Jackson Goldstone
The World Cup season starts in early May with Fort William. The first five DH World Cups will take place within the next three months, before a longer break for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. We wish Jackson Goldstone a full recovery.
