For 2024, he will make a radical change to his sporting career and has committed to a new personal project that will allow him to compete according to a personalized calendar. He has chosen BH as the brand for his bicycles and we will soon see him debut his new BH Lynx Race in La Leyenda de Tartessos.

“In June I started talking to some teams, but I came to the conclusion that it wasn't what I wanted. The possibility of creating a one-man team arose and I saw the opportunity to do so. I think it's the best thing right now,” explains Tiago Ferreira during the preparation for 2024. “I came to BH through a friend and it was very easy to conclude a deal. I quickly realized that I would be competing with BH.”
Tiago Ferreira's list of victories is so extensive that it seems like he has no challenge left to conquer. But this is not the case, the Portuguese has new ambitions and renewed motivation. “It will be a different season than anything I've done so far. I will do more gravel and I won't just focus on the results, I will also try to be an image and tackle some records as I have done in the past. I will do 3 or 4 races in America, mountain bike and gravel. It will be something different. I also keep the goal of doing my best at the European and World Championships. But, above all, I want to do well in gravel. I think I can do well in that discipline.”
Tiago Ferreira has already been able to test his new material and it seems that this will also be an important point in his renewed ambition for 2024. “It was like changing the world. I have always had problems on technical descents and after a few weeks of training with the BH Lynx Race they have now disappeared. It's a huge leap in quality. I'm sure it will make a big difference.” The new BH GravelX is also in his hands. “I was surprised to be able to have stiffness and comfort at the same time. Something that is not easy to obtain. And with the BH GravelX I have it. It's a super competitive bike, ideal for what I want to do.”
The project will have the municipality of Vouzela as sponsor. Located in the center of Portugal, Vouzela has been supporting outdoor sports and in particular mountain biking for many years, with a multitude of marked routes to enjoy the best tracks.
Tiago Ferreira will be part of the small group of athletes sponsored by Red Bull, with all that this entails in terms of communication and prestige in the world of sport.
Furthermore, Sram, RockShox, Zipp and Time have joined the project, equipping Tiago Ferreira's BH bicycles with the most technologically advanced components on the market.
With all these changes, Tiago Ferreira's motivation has multiplied. “I'll race wherever I want. I will do the races I like and the calendar I prefer. I am motivated by my project and the brands that support me. This 2024 motivates me a lot.”
At 35, he is at a point in his sporting career where he still has a lot to give in XCM trials and stage races, and, due to his physical characteristics, he seems to have everything to stand out in the growing world of gravel. The arrival of Tiago Ferreira in BH represents a guarantee of prominence in all the races in which he will take part.
