Arrives in Team Relay the first medal for the MTB team on the Anadia tracks, home of the 2023 edition of the MTB European Championships for Juniores and Under 23. The sextet made up of Gabriel Borre, Sara Cortinovis, Elian Paccagnella, Valentina Corvi, Elisa Lanfranchi and Andreas Vittone conquers the third step of the podium in the team relay, yielding the gold medal to Denmark and that of silver to France.

A great satisfaction for the CT Mirko Celestino, who had never fielded such a young team before today: "It's a double satisfaction, a result that for me is as good as a victory" explains the CT at the end of the match. And he adds: "I chose a very young group which, however, was able to handle the pressure of a particular competition such as the relay very well: a discipline in which you run alone but in which each individual affects the result of the whole team".
For CT a performance up to expectations: “They all behaved very well, there are those who raced perfectly and those who managed to defend themselves and not lose ground. I've always thought that in Team Relay the perfect team isn't the one full of phenomenal ones, but the one made up of medium-high level athletes, united and harmonious, like the one I saw racing today. We played it out until the end against France: the boys were good at managing the tension of the last lap and giving this medal to Italy. Thanks to the staff who were impeccable: managing a relay isn't easy, we proved to be prepared and coordinated, this too made the difference".
