In the U21 women's race, it was another victory for Canadian Emmy Lan (Forbidden Synthesis Team), her fourth of the season. Frenchwoman Lily Planquart won three of the day's five stages but was then penalized 5 minutes for starting a stage late. Italian Sophie Riva (Sunn French Co by Alpe D'Huez) finished second and Canadian Elly Hoskin third.
The very young Clarissa Carzolio is surprising who, in her first World Cup as a U21, finishes in the Top10 in 9th place with a nice 7th place in SS1.
The French Lisandru Bertini (Lapierre Zipp Collective) dominated the Under 21 men's race, winning 4 of the 5 stages. Alexis Icardo (Canyon CLLCTV Dainese) won 1 stage finishing in 2nd place of the day. Third was Canadian Jonathan Helly. The only Italian present Francesco Braconi, who finished in 46th place.
