The Canadian, who just a few days ago had expressed her satisfaction in competing in Italy for the strong competition and challenging courses, has shown that she is in great shape and ready to face the upcoming World Cup season. Nicole Pesse, the only athlete to immediately stay on the heels of the winner of today's stage, during the fourth lap suffered a technical problem that made her lose several positions and finish fifth.
My strategy for today was to stay in front from the beginning, as the track was slippery. I managed to impose my pace and it went very well. It was a fun race on a very technical course. I am very happy to have achieved this victory. – Emily Johnston
Category U23
Lucia Bramati wins the women's race in the U23 category, confirming the form already shown in San Zeno. Behind her, Beatrice Fontana (Lee Cougan Banca Prealpi SanBiagio) takes second place, while Giulia Rinaldoni (BRAVI Platforms Team) places third. The Trinx Factory Team athlete not only imposed her pace from the launch lap, leaving very few chances for her opponents to hinder her in her race towards victory, but her performance also allows her to wear the leader's jersey of the general Open and U23 classification.

Today was really tough, I rode a steady race until the last lap, when my strength ran out. I tried to hold on, I lost a position, but I'm still quite happy to have managed to bring home a podium on a day like that. This season I set myself the goal of winning the general classification jersey, now I'll try to keep it as long as possible. I'm happy with this result – Lucia Bramati
Junior category
Giorgia Pellizotti (Trinx Factory Team) dominates the race again today, finishing the 4 laps in 58 and 22″ leaving Nicole Azzetti (Team Guerrini) and Sara Bertino (Libertas Ceresetto) behind her. The Trinx Factory Team athlete firmly maintains the leader’s jersey in the general classification of her category, with Nicole Azzetti confirming her second place.

Today was a race made difficult by the rain, which changed the references I had taken yesterday during the reconnaissance. During the second lap I punctured, so my race became a bit complicated, but I decided not to change the wheel so as not to lose time and to be a bit more cautious on the descent, and this strategy worked. I started this season on the right foot, now I will take a bit of rest after a very intense period, but for me it would be a great emotion to be able to wear the leader's jersey until the end – Giorgia Pellizotti
The next event is scheduled for May 31st in Nervesa della Battaglia (TV) on the Rive degli Angeli route.
