The seventh and final round of the inaugural UCI Enduro World Cup, part of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series Festival Haute-Savoie, tested riders on a 7PS course covering almost 60km of trails in the popular area of Portes du Soleil.

In the women's competition, the overall victory of the series went to Isabeau Courdurier. The Lapierre Zipp Collective athlete only had to manage to manage the large lead overall with Morgane Charre (Pivot Factory Racer) going all out by winning the single race and taking 2nd place overall.
Charre won today's race by six seconds ahead of Courdurier in second place, while Harriet Harnden (Trek Factory Racing Gravity) took third place. The same three would find themselves on the overall podium of the series, but with Courdurier on the top step and Charre and Harnden in second and third place respectively. Best Italian Gloria Scarsi (8th) while Nadine Ellecosta is 14th.

In the men's race, series leader Richie Rude (Yeti/Fox Factory Racing) got off to a shaky start, finishing sixth in the first stage, while rival Jesse Melamed (Canyon CLLCTV) took the win. Melamed's performance was a masterpiece, with the reigning overall winner of the Enduro World Series winning four of the seven stages. The Canadian rider's performance was rewarded with race victory, with Alex Rudeau (Commencal Enduro Project) placing second and Rude taking third place on the podium.
Rude's third place gives him victory in the overall UCI Enduro World Cup, thus combining this victory with his 2 overall Enduro World Series trophies that he has obtained in the past. Melamed takes second place in the general classification, while Alex Rudeau takes third. Best Italian Tommaso Francardo (27th) while Mirco Vendemmia placed 34th.

In the U21 women's race it was a battle between Slovakia's Simona Kuchynkova and Britain's Emily Carrick-Anderson – with Kuchynkova taking victory by just one hundredth of a second. Behind Carrick-Anderson was the Swiss Delia Da Mocogno.
However, a strong season meant that Emmy Lan (Forbidden Synthesis Team) won the overall title, with Elly Hoskin in second place and Lily Planquart (Lapierre Zipp Collective) in third.
In the men's U21s, Raphael Giambi (Specialized Enduro Team) was the fastest of the day, with Lisandru Bertini (Lapierre Zipp Collective) in second place and Lief Rodgers of Canada in third. Bertini's impressive record this year secured him the overall title, with Giambi in second place and Australian Sascha Kim in third place.

The UCI Enduro World Cup ends here and will return next spring, while the UCI Mountain Bike World Series resumes in two weeks in Snowshoe, West Virginia, USA, for the penultimate round of the XCO and DH World Cups.
