The event ended with a great success among participants and the public. Italian championship Downhill 2026, where extraordinary technical performances were witnessed on the spectacular and selective “Oro Bianco” Alpine track in Prali (Turin) over the weekend of July 17, 18, and 19. The most important national competition in the Gravity specialty saw the best interpreters of the discipline compete on a track that put physical endurance to the test, where precision driving and the ability to maintain concentration were the winning weapons.

After the Friday trials for all categories, Saturday was entirely dedicated to the assignment of the prestigious category titles International Open e Junior, both male and female.
In International Men's Open, the fight at the top saw the sensational triumph of Stefano Introzzi (Team Ridewill-Bike Center Cimone), who stopped the clock on the extraordinary time of 3'50.914, recording the overall best of the day. Introzzi managed to leave his teammate behind Loris Revelli, a good 3.903 seconds behind. The overall podium was completed by the excellent third place of Christian Hauser (Team Black Crew) with a gap of 4.881 and first among the Under 23s.

The category Junior Men provided sparks, with an exceptional performance from the very young talents who placed themselves directly in the top 5 overall. The title of Italian Champion was won by a superb Thomas Bruno (Team MS Racing), not only category winner but fourth overall with 3'56.898; he beat by a handful of tenths Filippo Gilardino (Team Ridewill-Bike Center Cimone), who thus achieved 5th place overall with 3'57.280Third step of the category podium for Mark Morini (Team Bike O'Clock).
FEMALE ELITE
Among the women, the category race International Women's Open crowned queen again Veronika Widman (BMX DH Team Alto Adige – Unno Racing). The South Tyrolean imposed an unsustainable pace for her opponents, scoring a clear 4'25.450Nothing to be done for the Ligurian fortress Scarce Glory (Team MS Racing), forced to settle for the silver medal with a gap of 3.650 seconds due to an injury that has plagued her for a few weeks. Behind the very strong girls who also carry the Italian flag high at the international level, third place on the podium for Lisa Gava (Santa Cruz BMT – Team Honda Downhillher) with 4'46.446.

SUNDAY, JULY 19: SPACE FOR PROMISING YOUNG PEOPLE AND MASTERS
The second day of competition in Prali saw the youth categories (Beginners and Students) and the highly competitive Master categories, both male and female, take to the track.
Youth Categories
Among Male Students we witnessed a challenge on the edge of hundredths of a second and to win and wear the tricolour jersey was Michael Rinaldi (Team Black Crew), author of a masterful descent closed in 4'07.848The new champion had to use all his energy to repel the assault of Riccardo Vender (Team Centrobike Valdisole), trailing by just 366 thousandths. Third-place finisher Jacopo Rista (Team Ridewill-Bike Center) was further back, trailing by 10.184. Female Student saw the absolute domination of Martina Spinello (Santa Cruz BMT – Team Honda Downhillher) with 4'48.752, who beat Irene Bergamasco (Team Black Crew), 2.330 seconds behind her, and Matilde Bianchetti (Team Ruota Libera Terni.
Among Male Rookies, clear statement for Simone Zurlo (Team My Fly Zone) who left the competition behind with a time of 4'29.391, ahead of Edoardo Tosoni (Team Black Crew) and Erik Zanotel (Tribe Hot Bikes).
Among Women's Rookies the challenge was instead an exciting head to head between Norma Rocca (Team Rad!-Bikappa) who won the title with 5'03.457, and Zaira Shah (Team Ciclistica Rostese) who arrived just 0.443 behind; third was Francesca Bersani (Team Gruppo Nulli # Guber).
Master Categories
In 'Elite Sports clear triumph of Luca Mansuetini (Team 4T-Project Lordgun Virtus), while in the Master 1 victory on a razor's edge for Luca Roncolato (Team Bike and Soul Gravity), who beat Marcello Sanguigni by just 131 thousandths.
In Master 2 domain of Federico Proverbio (Bike and Soul Gravity Team). Daniele Pianigiani (Team GS Poccianti ACD) took the title Master 3, while Eric Anselmo (Team Dustdevils CT) won the category Master 4.
The legendary Andrew Bruno (Tribe Hot Bikes) signed the category Master 5, concluding a beautiful family weekend, as his two sons are the fastest Juniors.
In the veterans categories, national laurels for Roberto Paletto (Tribe Hot Bikes) Master 6, Graziano Sala (ASD Team Morotti) Master 7 e Walter Bolzanella (ASD Ridewill Factory) Master 8. Among the amateur female categories, tricolour jerseys Giulia Sartoris (Team MST Sheredders – Elite Women Sport), Ilaria Zampino (Team Rad! Bikappa – Master Women 1), Chiara Pastore (Team Bike and Soul Gravity – Master Women 2) e Tiziana Tatjana Finocchio (Team Honda Downhillher – Master Women 4).
