Catalina Vidaurre (Specialized Chile) confirms her excellent form and wins again at Internazionali d'Italia Series. After the success in the penultimate race in Chies d'Alpago, the Chilean champion also wins the fifth and final stage in Esanatoglia, finishing alone with a lead of 3'17” over Nicole Pesse (CS Carabinieri Cicli Olympia).

Third place overall for Lucia Bramati (Trinx Factory Team), who takes the day's victory in the U23 category and consolidates her leadership in the general classification, both among the Open and Under 23 categories.
“I dedicate these jerseys to the team, which every week puts us in the ideal conditions to race in extraordinary races and circuits that are fundamental for our growth,” Bramati said. “Today’s course was very tough, more than expected. I suffered a lot, perhaps because of the heat, but I tried to manage it as best I could without going overboard. My legs weren’t at their best, but I’m very happy with the result. Winning the stage in my category has a special flavor, especially because next year I’ll be moving up to the Elites. It will be more difficult, of course, but I’m happy to end my journey among the U23s like this.”

From the very first moments on the Santoporo XC track, Catalina Vidaurre imposed a strong pace, gaining a significant margin already at the first passage on the finish line. Only Nicole Pesse managed to initially keep up with the pace, in turn breaking away from her pursuers. Vidaurre then rode an impeccable race alone, completing the seven laps in 1h29'01” and repeating the success obtained in the penultimate stage of the circuit.
The fight was tighter in the U23 category, where Bramati, Laura Squarise (Dream Team) and Marika Celestino (Scott Racing Team) battled it out throughout the race. In the end, the seconds gained in the initial stages were enough for Lucia Bramati, who took the victory by crossing the finish line with a 29” advantage over Squarise and 1’35” over Celestino.

Junior women: Elisa Ferri dominates the final stage. Giorgia Pellizotti wins the overall classification
In the women's Junior race, Elisa Ferri (Team Guerrini) dictated the pace from the first lap. The young athlete launched a decisive attack, gaining a significant margin over her direct pursuers: teammate Matilde Azzetti and Giorgia Pellizotti (Trinx Factory Team). As the laps went by, the situation became even more fragmented, with Ferri increasing her advantage, finishing with 1'23” on Azzetti and 2'15” on Pellizotti. An excellent performance for the Team Guerrini athlete, who in the final stage obtained her first success at the Internazionali d'Italia Series. Pellizotti, third on the finish line, instead took the leader's jersey of the 2025 Junior general classification, ahead of Azzetti and Sabrina Rizzi (Team Sogno Veneto).

“This jersey means a lot to me, it’s the first one I’ve won in mountain biking,” said a satisfied Pellizotti. “I’m very proud that I was able to maintain the clarity needed to defend myself until the end. The course and the heat weren’t ideal for me, but I gave it my all. I knew that my opponents were getting closer race after race, so it was essential to stay focused.”
Regional Councilor Renzo Marinelli underlined the importance of the event for the enhancement of the territory: “As the Marche Region, we are fortunate to count on extraordinary places and excellent products, often still little known. Events like this are essential to make them discovered by a wider audience. Hosting athletes and enthusiasts is a precious opportunity for our territory, which also passes through sport and events of this level. We have invested a lot to make the Esanatoglia facility increasingly suitable for hosting national and international events.”
The Esanatoglia stage marked the conclusion of a new edition of the Internazionali d'Italia Series, confirming once again its technical value. With the success of Catalina Vidaurre, the dominance of Lucia Bramati among the U23s and the triumph of Giorgia Pellizotti in the Junior ranking, the 2025 of IIS closes in the name of talent and growth.
