The men's category was full of emotions and was decided in the last meters in a very close sprint between the stage winners of the World Bicycle Relief Nino Schurter (SUI) and Sebastian Fini (DEN) and Toyota-Specialized-NinetyOne – Matthew BEERS (RSA) and Howard GROTTS (USA), who took over the jerseys of the yellow leaders. Yesterday's stage winners, Andreas Seewald (GER) and Marc Stutzmann (SUI) of Canyon SIDI, finish with a deficit of 1 minute and 10 seconds. The race is wide open in the general classification with already three different overall leaders in the race so far.

In the women's category, the usual names of the GHOST Factory Racing team – Anne Terpstra (NED) and Nicole Koller (SUI) dominated the race and took another stage victory. Toyota-Specialized-NinetyOne – Sofia GOMEZ Villafane (ARG) and Samara Sheppard (NZL) win over Cannondale Factory Racing – Mona Mitterwallner (AUT) and Candice Lill (RSA) in a sprint finish.
