However, there was no expected family duel between the Braidot twins because it was Cameron Orr (Wilier-Pirelli), who finished his winning race in 1:20:03. The British bowed the resistance of Luke Braidot (Santa Cruz-Rockshox) only in the final metres, in a race made tough by the heat.

Behind them, Daniele Braidot finished in third place 23” behind the winner, gaining the points needed to secure first place in the general classification.
“Winning the Internazionali d'Italia Series title is what I wanted, I've never succeeded before and I'm very happy to have achieved this goal – the words of Daniele Braidot at the end of the match -. Today it was very hot, and we remained compact until the final stages of the race. I tried to win but there were those who had more than me. That's okay, the most important thing was the final success”.

The race was very tight up to the last meters with six athletes protagonists. In addition to the twins Braidot and Orr, Filippo Fontana (CS Carabinieri), Gioele Bertolini (Trinx Factory Team) and Alessio Agostinelli (KMT-Protek-Elettrosystem) ran in the leading positions. The six set the pace in the first four laps before Agostinelli waved the white flag losing the wheels of the company.
None of the five remaining in front, however, managed to make the difference despite the attacks of the Braidot twins in the penultimate round. The situation was thus decided in the last lap, when Cameron Orr gave the decisive acceleration closely followed by Luca Braidot, while Daniele gave them a few meters. Only in the final kilometers did the Briton manage to definitively break the resistance of the Santa Cruz-Rockshox rider, thus establishing himself on the finish line.

“I didn't expect to be able to win today, it's really an incredible success – analyzed Cameron Orr after the victory -. I stayed in front until the end and in the last lap I tried to pull away from the others, it went well. It was certainly a wonderful weekend for Wilier-Pirelli, tonight we need to celebrate”.
Gioele Bertolini concluded in fourth position, with Filippo Fontana closing the top five. Alessio Agostinelli had to settle for sixth position. Among the Under 23s, Emanuele Vega Bocchio (ASD Rock Bike Team) prevailed with Emanuele Andreas Vittone (KTM-Protek-Elettrosystem) who instead won the general classification of the circuit.
ELITE WOMEN RACE
The Wilier-Pirelli rider crowned a season of great continuity by achieving victory in the last stage of Alpago which earned her success in the general Internazionali d'Italia Series. Second place for Seiwald, third Teocchi. Among the Juniors, Sara Squarise stands out
She was the favorite on the eve and did not betray the predictions. Giada Specia made the most of the absence of Martina Bertha and achieved the victory of stage a Chies d'Alpago, Saturday 8 July 2023, which earned her the final success of the Internationals of Italy Series 2023, thus defending the scepter conquered twelve months ago. The Wilier-Pirelli standard-bearer thus crowned a season of great continuity which saw her climb on the podium in almost all the stages.

After facing the first three rounds arm in arm with Candice Lill (Seattle Coffee Co) e Greta Seiwald (Team Rockrider), Giada Specia he gave the decisive acceleration that definitively defeated the competition, closing his race in 1:12:46. Behind her Seiwald took second place of the day with a delay of 43”, while Clare Teocchi (KTM – Protek – Elettrosystem) completed a comeback that earned her the podium.
“I've come close to success many times this year at the Internazionali d'Italia Series and today I took the opportunity: I wanted the stage and the jersey - he has declared Giada Specia -. Today was a very hot day, on a tough circuit, but I was particularly keen on it, also because winning close to home is even more special. I believe that confirmation in the Women's Open ranking is a further step in my career growth".
Candice Lill stopped at the foot of the podium, the absolute protagonist of the first part of the race, while the veteran Eve Lechner (Trinx Factory Team). Among the Under 23s, success went to Lucrezia Braida (Four Es Racing Team), ninth at the finish line.
JUNIOR COMPETITION
The athlete from the Marche region of the Superbike Bravi Platforms Team attacked during the second lap of the five foreseen, leaving all his rivals in place. An advantage that did not shrink until the finish line, cut in 54: 03: 78. Behind him three athletes battled for the podium with Federico Bartolini (Adventure Bike Team) who finished in second place 11" from the winner, while the last step of the podium was conquered by Hector Hjorth (Holte MTB), Danish national vice-champion of Cross Country.

"I didn't start very well but at the end of the first lap the sensations were good – says Pelucchini after the finish line -. On the second lap I attacked and took a reassuring lead that allowed me to manage until the end. I trained in Esanatoglia, a few steps from my house, until a few days ago. The fifth place achieved there in the third stage of the Internazionali d'Italia Series gave me confidence after a difficult start to the season, this victory is the result of that result".
In the Juniores women's test affirmation without history of Laura Squise (ASD La Fenice MTB) which closes in front of Victoria Rizzo (GS Termo la Spezia) at 1'40” e Myrto Mangiaterra (Team Cingolani) at 2'21”. In general, the success went instead to Elisa Lanfranchi (KTM-Protek-Electrosystem).
