Excellent performance for Alia Marcellini who wins a stage and finishes in 3rd place in the 5th round of the e-Enduro World Cup in Switzerland at Aletsch Arena. The winner is always Espineira Herreros who declared: “I'm happy to have overcome this day, it was very hard, even happier to win. It was a great battle with Rapha so have a good day! I took it stage after stage, trying to go fast in each one. I never stopped attacking."

The Chilean achieved four first places, three second places and two third places over the course of the nine stages, finishing almost half a minute ahead of nearest challenger Raphaela Richter. She now has what seems like an insurmountable 721 point lead over Laura Charles.

Speaking after the race, Gilchrist said: “Everyone was suffering, but it's really good to know that the preparation is there to be able to spend the watts where needed. I really enjoy being able to win convincingly. I love fighting with these riders and coming out on top is special. To be able to have this win and this jersey on my shoulders a little more securely than last race is fantastic. The leader's jersey doesn't lie, I'm happy with it, I'm proud of it and I want to keep it!”

[email protected] I am a fan of everything that has 2 wheels: at a young age I practiced road and track cycling (Italian Allievi champion). At the age of 18 I passed into the cross country competing at national/international level as an Under23. Past Elite, I made the choice to take things more lightly from a training point of view, and my love for gravity disciplines was born, training me as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made passion my profession by managing 2 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Bike Center Elba and Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
