Once again Massa Marittima is the perfect setting for the last round of the Toscano Enduro Series which has once again confirmed itself as the reference enduro championship in Italy, with almost 400 athletes coming from all over the peninsula and beyond given that the enormous resonance of the Maremma cycling destination always attracts many foreign athletes.

And so Francesco Guidi and his crew were once again present in front of the Enduro people with a race which, unlike last year, took place entirely on the slope of Monte Arsenti, leaving out for this year the beautiful part of the Accesa Lake, where the superclassic Canyon is located.
Departure at 8 from the Ghirlanda area, in front of the Sleep n'Ride, the fabulous hotel structure specifically dedicated to bikers, and heading north where already on PS1 it was understood that the super Vittorino Palmieri would not give discounts to anyone, in fact today Vitto has dominated all 4 stages leaving the only doubt as to who would be awarded the podium behind him.
And therefore honor also goes to Jacopo Del Principe (TSI) who achieved an excellent second overall as well as first both in the race and in the Elite master championship and to Omer Hutman who arrived from Israel to place first among the unders as well as third overall.
Fifth overall and first among the juniors was Christian Valenti (Young Riderz) ahead of Tiziano Pichelli of TSI who however took the championship victory.
There is no doubt about the fact that Vittorio therefore maintained the championship lead and took home the title of Absolute Champion of the TES 2024 just ahead of Jacopo Del Principe and Tiziano Pichelli.
Among the women, victory went to Sofia Baroncelli (Bearz racing) ahead of Ambra Giusti of West Elba and Nicole Andreoni of Trail Dogs in the same order also in the championship.
Big celebration for TSI who won the championship, winning the team classification ahead of the Abetone Gravity Team and the Young Riderz Pistoia.
Among the over 100 kids at the start in the Beginners and Students categories, once again the victory went to Lorenzo Noferini of the Abetone Vittoria Gravity Team, ahead of the local Niccolò Lanzoni of I-Mtb who consoled himself with the victory in the championship. Among the rookies, Riccardo Salvatori of Oneeleven got the better of Stefano Marullo, winning the race and the championship, while among the female rookies, Marta Fiocchi of Porrettana Bike prevailed ahead of Sofia Ponzi of Vallone delle Cese who, despite finishing second, prevailed in the championship, and to Alice Farinelli of the Arezzo Cycling School.
In the M1 great return for Diego Benassi who beat Giulio Monnecchi by just 1 second in one of the hottest challenges of the day, while in the M2 victory for Federico Tamberi who however left the championship victory to Iacopo Bicchi of Sam sport. In the M3, yet another victory for Matteo Rimondo of the Abetone Gravity Team ahead of the stainless Marco Mazzi (Cicli Mancini) in the same order also in the championship, among the M4 Alessandro Bagnoli (I-MTB) demonstrated that he feels at home in Massa given the lack of distance from his Castiglione ahead of Matteo Cuneo first in the championship, while in the M5 the winner was Roberto Farinelli of the Arezzo Cycling School who also won the championship. Just as in the M6 after a great battle for the top step with the winner Michele Cortopassi divided by Nicola Raffaelli by less than a second, while in the M7 it was Andrea Consani who won the race and the title.
Among the almost 150 "electric" athletes to win was Rocco Bocelli of Giocatore d'Azzardo ahead of Filippo Colarusso of Team Snep and Paolo Bertozzi of Team RP. Worth mentioning is the excellent performance of MotoGP super champion Marco Melandri in fifth place overall and first in the EB3 class. Among the women, the returning Francesca Bonanni excelled ahead of the German Shirley Klauer and Nola Ferraro.
Both overall winners among the e-bikes also excelled in the special Moro Challenge ranking reserved for Yamaha riders, demonstrating that the Japanese bike increasingly represents safety for those who use it but also that the development conducted by Yamaha throughout the championship has been turned out to be extremely positive and spot on.
Maximum fun also for the large audience crowded on the slopes of Monte Arsenti and in particular on the very classic Rock n'Roll Queen, therefore great satisfaction for the president of the Asd Bike Service – Trail Brothers, Francesco Guidi but also and above all for the Trail team Builder, led by Andrea Tiezzi, Danilo Martini and Enrico Filippi, have put together a series of truly fantastic paths.
The tourist implications that the event brought to the Massa Marittima area were important both on the days of the race and in those immediately preceding it, with over 2000 participants including athletes, technicians and companions involved both in the tests and in the development of the vehicles. But also and above all to enjoy this wonderful start of summer on the Massa paths.
In the meantime, the TES steering committee has worked to give even more content to the circuit's races with increasingly important prizes thanks primarily to the Main Sponsor Yamaha which has supported the TES to test and have tested its exceptional E Bikes which as mentioned, both the men's and women's overall results were won. In addition to the prestigious Japanese brand, Ufo Plast is reconfirmed and is once again present in the bike world with its clothing and protections that we all remember at the highest level and Vittoria Tires which with its high performance tires helps those who want to be able to climb the podium . PROAction sport also makes its entrance, providing all the products suitable for nutritional supplementation of athletes and Chamaleon Skin returns with its protective films for frames, Scrimmage Socks, Prato Freeride, DRC Wheels, Esseci stampa, FT pro and the craft brewery TopTa which as always will flood all participants with beer with its own dedicated stand right in front of the start.
So now the green light is given to all enthusiasts who want to choose between the slopes from the top of Monte Arsenti but also the new ones in the Accesa Lake area which are truly fun and suitable for everyone to feel a bit like an athlete by replicating the exploits of the champions of the TES. Also thanks to the rental which was renewed with the important agreement with the German brand Canyon which supplied the bikes from the new range specifically set up for use on the Maremma trails. And precisely with a view to broadening the panorama of possible mountain bike users, Bike Service has also developed the possibility of using the entire range of Santa Cruz e-bikes, which allow us to enormously expand the possibility of using the large network of paths that they developed starting from Ghirlanda and Sleep n'Ride.
The TES, on the other hand, is saying goodbye earlier this year but only because the organizational group made up of Marco Corsi, Enrico Landucci, Davide Demin, Stefano Congregati, Massimiliano Baldisseri and Rolando Galli is preparing for new challenges, also being the organizer of the Tuscan stage of the Italian Enduro Series on 28 July at Abetone and the Italian Enduro Championship, in collaboration with the boys from West Elba on the Island of Elba on 6 October.
