The Shimano Super Cup Massi Banyoles reaffirmed its status as one of the most important events on the international XCO calendar. Now in its 25th year, the race brought together nearly 1.000 participants from 35 countries and offered a weekend of top-level competition on a circuit in perfect condition.

In the men's elite category, Victor Koretzky added another chapter to his story in Banyoles. The Frenchman secured his sixth victory on this course after a very open race, decided on the final lap. After several changes in pace and a compact lead group for much of the race, the key moment came in the final stretch through the rock garden, where a mistake by his rivals allowed Koretzky to open a gap and reach the finish line alone. Behind him, the podium was completed by David Valero, Luca Schwarzbauer, Simone Fini, and Jordan Sarrou, with Fini leaving Banyoles as the new overall leader.

The Swiss cyclist built up a small lead, which she defended firmly against her top-level rivals. Valentina Corvi finished second, followed by Kelsey Urban, who takes over the Shimano Super Cup Massi leadership, along with Evie Richards and Greta Cortinovis.
