The Tuscan Enduro Series returns to Abetone for one of the championship's iconic stages, and once again, Abetone did not disappoint with a fantastic race that was unfortunately interrupted halfway through the third special stage by a downpour that forced the judges to stop the competitors in order to avoid creating problems for their safety and security.

The first two dry special stages were enough for Lorenzino "Parrucca" Noferini (CC Appenninico) to edge out the entire field of over 2 competitors with a solid and convincing performance that saw him take the lead in both special stages ahead of Pietro Consorti (TSI Freebike) and Matteo Falcini (Abetone Gravity Team), who then followed him in that order in the final standings. As mentioned at the beginning, after a cool and dry start, a severe thunderstorm broke out during the course of special stage 250, prompting the judges to prioritize the safety of the athletes by interrupting the race and thus validating the result consolidated at the end of special stage 3. The "electric" riders, starting first, managed to finish the race without falling under the downpour and thus enjoyed the full race standings.
Great satisfaction for the organizers from Abetone, starting with president Giorgio Vannini and the team of trail builders led by Davide De Min, assisted by the "blond" Alessio Ciulli, the mainstay Graziano "blacksmith" Tisi and the new entry Matteo Biagi who further improved the trails, receiving great applause from all the competitors.
In the overall women's ranking, victory went to Emilie Polo (Fristads Merida) ahead of Irene Savelli (Young Riderz Pistoia) and Gaia Asaro.
Among the rookies, overall victory went to Niccolò Marchesi (Bike Gunner) ahead of Cosimo Bertelli (TSI Free Bike) and Mirco Rubis (Fristads Merida) among the boys, while Viola Tabanelli (Bad School Team) beat Emily Parrini (Abetone Gravity Team) and Alice Farinelli among the girls.
In the students' category, Ruben Manfroni of the Young riderz won ahead of Daniele Fabbri (cc Appenninico) and Tommaso Stenico (Hurricane Insane).
Among the amateurs, Tiziano Pichelli (TSI Free Bike) took victory in the Elite Masters, Federico Proverbio (Young Riderz) in the M1 category, and Federico Tamberi in the M2 category. Matteo Rimondo returned to victory in the M3 category, as did Matteo Cuneo in the M4 category, and Giacomo Giunti brought the Gumasio team back to the top step of the podium in the M5 category. Graziano Bazzichi (Abetone Gravity Team) managed to beat Simone Giovannozzi in the M6 category, while Rolando Galli's (Abetone Gravity Team) return to racing left his opponents with no chance in the M7 category.
Giulia Maccioni of ASD Black Sheeps Montalbano won the women's amateur event.
The great battle between the almost 100 electric bikes was won by Paolo Bertozzi of the ASD Montignoso Ciclismo ahead of his almost namesake but not related Claudio Bertozzi (Dueruote Forlì) and Davide Viti of the Easy ride enduro team in third place overall.

Among the "electric" women, victory went to Francesca Bonanni ahead of Lisa Balachia and Nola Ferraro.
Once again, the Abetone Gravity Team performed excellently, putting together a well-balanced race that, with the addition of the new “Casa Coppi” special stage in Val di Luce, allowed the athletes to combine their downhill skills with their technical and physical abilities.
And now the long summer break will bring the championship back to Maremma for the grand finale at Argentario with the race in Porto Santo Stefano, a new location that has nothing to envy of nearby Massa Marittima, Punta Ala, and Castiglione and which could actually become a valid alternative for a multi-day enduro holiday, managing to ride in a different but equally valid location every day.
Meanwhile, the TES steering committee has worked hard to add even more content to the circuit's races with increasingly important prizes thanks to its sponsors: UFO Plast, which returns to the cycling world with its renowned top-level clothing and protection, and Vittoria Tyres, which supports those aiming for the podium with its high-performance tires. Namedsportsuperfood also makes its debut, providing all the necessary nutritional supplements for athletes, and Formula returns with all its fantastic bike components, starting with its legendary brakes. Chameleon Skin with its protective films for frames, DRC high-performance parts, Dottor Bike, Switch components, Esseci stampa, FT pro, Martelli Suspension, Resolvbikecleaning system, and the TopTa craft brewery, which, as always, showers all participants with beer at its dedicated stand right in front of the start line.
