There is therefore great anticipation for the race, for which around 400 athletes are expected, among which all the strongest Italian athletes of this spectacular specialty stand out who will fight to be able to wear the tricolor champion's jersey in both the professional and amateur categories .

It will be the leading athlete of the Abetone team Tommaso Francardo who will take the lion's share after the exceptional results achieved in the recent world championship trials even if he will still have to defend himself from the attacks of Nicola Bima, Matteo Saccon, Daniel Tortora, Andrea Colombo and Simone Pellissero , without forgetting the enfant du Pays Vittorino Palmieri, fresh winner of the Toscano Enduro Series.
Among the girls, Nadine Ellecosta will have to keep her very young teammate Giorgia Fiocchi at bay in an all-Abetonese challenge.
Among the juniors, a tough fight between Matteo Falcini, also from the Abetone Gravity Team, and Matteo Melloni from Appennino Bike.
Among the amateurs, however, Jacopo Del Principe, Ale Bagnoli, Andrea Pirazzoli, Matteo Rimondo, Mattia Bergui, as well as the legend Bruno Zanchi will battle for victory in their respective categories.
However, let's not forget the youth categories where both among the rookies and among the students the fight will be very open and uncertain until the end, given the lack of experience which will allow reversals until the finish line.
The trail builders, led by Davide De Min and Graziano "Fabbro" Tisi and assisted by the legendary "Biondo" Alessio Ciulli, worked hard to ensure a route worthy of such an important event. 26 km of route, of which 15 are distributed across 5 special stages, namely the classic Tre and Listen, which share the start and finish but follow different lines to reach the valley, but also the TRITRI with a new section that extends it up to to the car park at the base of the cable car, the new 6 which descends to the bottom of Pulicchio, thus increasing another 200 meters of negative altitude difference and finally the return of the classic Chierroni which descends to the village of Regine on the opposite side of the pass.
The stages will be ready starting from Friday 26th for the track walk, i.e. the reconnaissance on foot, to then continue with the tests on Saturday and the race on Sunday. Clearly the cable car will be opened accordingly in order to allow the athletes to try without having to endure too much effort and the public to be able to move freely along the routes.
The youth categories will compete in the race on PS Sei, Listen and Chierroni in order to be within the regulatory height difference.
As regards the organizational aspect, the Abetone Gravity Team will also be assisted by all the staff of the Toscano Enduro Series in order to offer the same level seen throughout the course of this championship, which this year has become the sure reference for national level and which also includes the voiceover of the legendary CinoBike who this time will do a real live broadcast, also joining the race.
The war cry of this handful of heroes was immediately responded to by Nencini Sport, one of the most important chains of Italian sporting goods stores, Vittoria Tyres, which represents one of the world's leading producers of bicycle tires and Ufo Plast, leader in protections. and bike and motorbike helmets, linked to the Abetone Gravity Team for many years, immediately booked to give the necessary technical and economic support as the main sponsor of the event.
