Enrique Morcillo and Alberto Barroso delivered a flawless performance to take overall victory in the 2026 Vuelta a Ibiza MTB Siroko by Shimano, a truly special edition celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Scott Cala Bandida duo dominated the race from day one, managing the queen stage to perfection and resisting the final sprint, where their main rivals (Hector Leonardo Paez Leon / Dario Cherchi – Lee Cougan Basso Factory Racing) won many stages but were unable to change the overall outcome, also due to bad luck.
"The level rises every year, but with my partner, it was hard not to. I'm very happy to have won on this 25th anniversary," Morcillo explained.
With this triumph, the Ibiza native takes his third victory in the race, and does so on home soil, in a historic edition, consolidating his position as one of the great figures of the Vuelta a Ibiza MTB.
In the women's category, Sofia Rodriguez and Lucia Gonzalez took victory in the final stage after a very solid weekend, although the overall standings were clearly dominated by Morath and Mairhofer, who finished in the lead from start to finish.
