The 2025 Shimano Super Cup Massi started in the usual event in La Nucía. A race that brought together many important names, many of them making their debut in the race in 2025. Sam Gaze played his role as favorite, while Tamara Wiedmann surprised in the women's category.
The men's stage of the Shimano Super Cup Massi 2025 in La Nucía began with an attack by Cannondale's new signing, Canadian Cole Punchard. The attack didn't last long, however, as Sam Gaze took control of the race and gradually chipped away at the peloton. The only one who held Gaze's ground until the end was German Maximilian Brandl, a new member of Lapierre Racing Unity.
With the first two positions assigned, Valero was the fastest among the pursuers to complete the podium of the day.

FEMALE ELITE
In the women's category, Mondraker Factory Racing XC started the season in style with Tamara Wiedmann (23) being the surprise of the weekend. A clear and convincing victory, beating some of the best athletes in the world. In the end, she won with almost 1 minute of advantage over Rebecca Henderson, while Jolanda Neff completed a high-level podium.
Chiara Teocchi finishes with an excellent 5th place.
