Among the Elite, the French Victor Koretzky makes up for the disappointment of last year's second place, but above all of the Olympic one this summer, and takes the rainbow jersey at the finish line in Pal Arinsal. Second place for the young British Charlie Aldridge, who finds an important podium at his first elite World Championship. Third place for Alan Hatherly, who gets the better of the American Christopher Blevins in the photo finish. Good performance by Luca Braidot, who enters the top 10 and finishes in sixth position, showing a condition that bodes well for the Cross Country race on Sunday. Just outside the top ten is Simone Avondetto, eleventh, while Nadir Colledani and Filippo Fontana finish 22nd and 24th respectively.
